Eman Kospo’s agent, Nusret Jashari, has shared the thinking behind the young defender’s move from Barcelona to Fiorentina last summer for €850,000. He revealed it was a deliberate career choice designed to help Kospo grow into a top-tier player.
The transfer was driven by the belief that Italy’s Serie A offers a unique and essential education for defenders. The goal was to build on Kospo’s attacking strengths by adding the tactical discipline of Italian football, creating a more complete and formidable centre-back.

Jashari explained that he saw Serie A as the perfect learning ground for a defender. “For a defender, going to Serie A is like enrolling in university,” he said. He strongly advised Kospo and his family that moving to Italy was necessary for him to master the art of defending by learning from the famous “Italian school of thought.”

While Kospo is already skilled in attack, the agent believed that testing himself in the tactical environment of Serie A would help him become a complete centre-back.
