🏀 Players Make Strong Final Impression
For many players, Friday’s games were the last chance to impress before the 2025-26 season. Several hopefuls took full advantage of the opportunity. One of the day’s top performers was Yuki Kawamura, who at 5-foot-8, recorded an impressive 20 points and 10 assists to lead the Bulls to a win over the Jazz. Other standouts included second-year guard Judah Mintz, who scored 20 points for the 76ers, and Pelicans’ rookie Jeremiah Fears, who finished his summer run with 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.

The second semifinal will see the Hornets take on the Thunder. This game presents a classic contrast in styles, as the high-scoring Hornets, led by rookie Kon Knueppel, will test the Thunder’s league-best defense, which has allowed just 80.5 points per game.

The WNBA All-Star 2025 weekend in Indianapolis kicked off with the league’s reigning champions, the New York Liberty, taking center stage.
