The Houston Rockets are aggressively pursuing contention! Barely after free agency opened, the Rockets reportedly secured two key additions: versatile forward Dorian Finney-Smith and returning center Clint Capela.
Reports indicate Finney-Smith is heading to Houston on a four-year, $53 million deal. The 32-year-old sharpshooter, known for his two-way abilities, averaged 8.7 points and shot 41.4% from three last season.
Capela, a former Rockets draft pick, is also reportedly returning to Houston on a three-year, $21.5 million contract.
These signings, coupled with the anticipated acquisition of Kevin Durant via trade, signal a significant shift in Houston’s ambitions and could drastically alter the Western Conference landscape.
