Shaquille Harrison is set to continue his basketball journey in Europe, as he has signed a new contract with the French team ASVEL Villeurbanne. After a strong debut season, the team was keen to keep the experienced guard on its roster.

The club officially announced the extension, praising Harrison for his positive influence. According to ASVEL, Harrison made a big impact with his skills on both offense and defense. They also highlighted his great character, which made him a valuable team member for coach Pierric Poupet.

📊 Harrison’s Performance in Europe

In his first-ever season in the EuroLeague, the 31-year-old guard averaged 5.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in about 16 minutes per game. In the French League, his numbers were even better, with 7.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in around 18 minutes of action.

✈️ From the NBA to Europe

Before moving to France, Harrison had a long career in the United States. He spent seven years in the NBA, playing a total of 190 games. During his time there, he played for several teams, including the Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Memphis Grizzlies.
