Euroleague Basketball is set to reach even more viewers in the United States, thanks to a new agreement with North American online company FanDuel. The two organizations have extended their partnership, ensuring that top-tier European basketball will be broadcast in the U.S. for free until 2028.

This renewed deal highlights the growing popularity of European basketball among American audiences. By making the games more accessible, both EuroLeague and FanDuel hope to attract new fans and strengthen the sport’s global presence. The partnership aims to deliver the unique intensity and high skill level of European competition to a wider audience.

🤝 A Stronger Partnership

Building on a successful collaboration that began in 2024, Euroleague Basketball and FanDuel have agreed to a multi-year extension. This move signals confidence in the continued growth of the EuroLeague brand in North America. Alex Ferrer Kristjansson of Euroleague Basketball noted that the deal is key to expanding the league’s global footprint and showing American fans the rich tradition of European basketball.

🏀 More Games for Fans

Under the new agreement, fans in the U.S. will have access to over 100 live games per season at no cost. The coverage will include selected regular-season games each week, as well as high-stakes matchups like the Play-In Showdown, the Playoffs, and the prestigious Final Four. Games will be available on FanDuel TV Extra and the FanDuel TV+ streaming platform.

🌍 A Growing Global League

This partnership renewal comes at an exciting time for the EuroLeague, as the competition is expanding. For the first time, the league will feature 20 teams, including the debut of a team from Dubai. This expansion reflects the league’s growing international appeal and its ambition to become a truly global force in professional basketball.

🗣️ What Both Sides Are Saying

Both parties have expressed excitement about the extended partnership. Michael Shiffman from FanDuel TV shared his thrill in continuing to showcase “some of the highest-caliber basketball in the world” to American fans. The goal is to provide an easy and free way for viewers to follow Europe’s top basketball league, strengthening both brands in the process.
