Slask and Hamburg Bolster Rosters with New Signings

Two BKT EuroCup teams, Slask Wroclaw and Veolia Towers Hamburg, have signed new players to strengthen their lineups for the rest of the 2025-26 season. Angel Nunez makes a return to Slask, while Devon Daniels joins a struggling Hamburg team.

These moves highlight the teams’ different goals at this stage of the competition. Slask is aiming to improve its solid standing and push for a better playoff position, while Hamburg is urgently looking for a change in fortune to secure its first win of the season.

🤝 A Familiar Face Returns to Slask

Veteran winger Angel Nunez, 33, is rejoining Slask Wroclaw after nine months away. The Dominican player brings valuable European experience from his time in the Basketball Champions League and FIBA Europe Cup. This will be his first time playing in the EuroCup, where he joins a Slask team holding a 3-4 record in Group A and looking to climb higher in the standings.

💪 Hamburg Seeks a Spark with Devon Daniels

Meanwhile, Veolia Towers Hamburg has added 27-year-old Devon Daniels to its squad. The team has had a tough start to the season, with an 0-7 record in the EuroCup and an 0-6 record in its German domestic league. Hamburg hopes that the addition of Daniels will provide a much-needed boost and help them turn their season around.

🏆 The Road to the EuroCup Playoffs

The top two teams from each group will advance directly to the Quarterfinals, while teams finishing third to sixth will enter the Eighthfinals.
