This partnership marks a special moment for the BCL’s tenth season, known as Season X. Ameresco SUNEL, a joint venture between global cleantech company Ameresco Inc. and renewable energy firm SUNEL, will take a leading role in shaping the league’s sustainable future.

The main goal of this partnership is to make basketball arenas smarter and more environmentally friendly. Ameresco SUNEL specializes in renewable energy solutions like solar power and battery storage systems. They will work with the BCL to help clubs and venues reduce their carbon footprint and lower energy costs. This initiative is part of SUNEL’s new “The Green Alliance” platform, which is dedicated to helping sports facilities and other large venues transition to clean energy.
