
AEK has officially welcomed former NBA player Greg Brown III to the team. The Greek club announced the signing just before their Basketball Champions League game, adding a powerful new forward to their roster for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old American forward has signed a contract that will keep him with AEK until the end of the 2025-2026 season. Standing at 2.01 meters, Brown is a versatile player who can fill both forward positions, bringing athleticism and energy to the court. He is expected to be a key addition to the team’s lineup.
🏀 From the NBA to Europe
Brown brings valuable experience from his time in the NBA. He was drafted in 2021 and played for the Trail Blazers for two seasons before a brief stint with the Mavericks. Across 70 NBA games, he showed his potential on the court. He also spent time developing his skills in the NBA G League and most recently played for the Calgary Surge in Canada, showcasing his talent internationally.

Before turning professional, Brown was a highly-rated young player in the United States. During his high school career in Texas, he was named Texas Player of the Year and played in the prestigious McDonald’s All-American Game. He then played for the University of Texas, where he continued to impress as a key player before entering the NBA Draft.
