The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has unveiled its official Road to EWC initiative, a global qualifier system for the upcoming Esports World Cup 2025, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from July 7 to August 24.

  • Global Qualifier Ecosystem:

    • Over 200 tournaments worldwide
    • Open to all skill levels, with multiple qualification routes
  • Game-Specific Qualifier Paths:

    • 🎮 Publisher Circuits: League of Legends, VALORANT, Overwatch 2, Apex Legends
    • 🎮 Open Qualifiers: Dota 2, StarCraft II, Teamfight Tactics
    • 📱 Mobile Region Leagues: Best teams per region advance
    • 🥊 Community Events: EVO Japan, Combo Breaker, CEO for games like TEKKEN 8, SF6
    • Last Chance Qualifiers before the main event
  • Total Tournaments: 25 competitions across 24 game titles, including new entries:

    • Chess, Crossfire, FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, and VALORANT
  • Prize Pool:

    • Total: $70 million (↑ $10m from 2024)
    • $27 million allocated for the EWC Club Championship
