The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has unveiled its official Road to EWC initiative, a global qualifier system for the upcoming Esports World Cup 2025, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from July 7 to August 24.

- Over 200 tournaments worldwide
- Open to all skill levels, with multiple qualification routes
Game-Specific Qualifier Paths:
- 🎮 Publisher Circuits: League of Legends, VALORANT, Overwatch 2, Apex Legends
- 🎮 Open Qualifiers: Dota 2, StarCraft II, Teamfight Tactics
- 📱 Mobile Region Leagues: Best teams per region advance
- 🥊 Community Events: EVO Japan, Combo Breaker, CEO for games like TEKKEN 8, SF6
- ⚡ Last Chance Qualifiers before the main event
Total Tournaments: 25 competitions across 24 game titles, including new entries:
- Chess, Crossfire, FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, and VALORANT
Prize Pool:
- Total: $70 million (↑ $10m from 2024)
- $27 million allocated for the EWC Club Championship
